Sharon Stone

Sushmita Sen
In 1994 at the age of eighteen, the girl-next-door Sushmita won the title of Miss India (beating out Aishwarya Rai). Later that year, the leggy beauty became the first Indian Miss Universe in the Miss Universe Pageant held in the Philippines and one of the youngest women to ever win the title. Lara Dutta
Lara Dutta, displayed stunning grit and determination to win the Miss Universe title in 2000. At the age of 16, she had left her home in Bangalore to go to Mumbai and realize her dreams. Before Miss Universe, she was a successful print and ramp model. Lara has now embarked on another path, ie, the road to stardom in Bollywood. Her debut film was ‘Andaaz’ and she is considered to be a promising actress in filmdom.
French supermodel Laetitia Casta told Elle Magazine about her beauty secrets. “The products I use are not necessarily the same brand”, Laetitia said. “They happen to suit my hair, or my face, and they are generally very ordinary. To remove makeup, I use a baby bath lotion, which I buy at the pharmacy. I apply it to my face with a very pure, soft cotton wool, the usual cotton pads for removing makeup literally scratch my face! My skin tends to get dry, so I apply a very light cream, by Avene. For my lips, which are also often dry, I use a cream which contains vitamin A. Miss Universe 1955
The competition for the fourth edition of Miss Universe that was held on 22 July 1955, at Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, Long Beach, California, USA won Miss Sweden, 21-year-old Hillevi Rombin.

She was the Swedish national decathlon champion before being crowned Miss Sweden and later Miss Universe. Her athleticism was made apparent during the press conference following her Miss Universe victory when she did a handstand! Following her term as Miss Universe she headed to Hollywood to begin a movie career.

Shortly after arriving in Hollywood she met and married G. David Schine, a Hollywood producer and hotel owner, with whom she had five children. Schine would spend the majority of his life in the private sector as a businessman and entrepreneur, working in the hotel, film, music, and high technology industries. Schine was Executive Producer of the Academy Award winning film The French Connection [14] in 1971, with eight nominations, taking Oscars for picture, director, actor, editing, and writing. Schine’s company Schine Music would also provide songs to Lou Rawls and Bobby Sherman, among others. Hillevi Rombin and her husband, G. David Schine, who known also as a catalytic figure in the fierce drama that brought to a climax the chapter in American history known as the McCarthy era, were killed in a plane crash in 1996 when a single-engine plane piloted by his son Berndt crashed shortly after takeoff from Burbank, Calif.
Miss Universe 1953 – Christiane Martel
All information I could find about this beautiful woman is several articles about her in Wikipedia. So, the second Miss Universe pageant, that was held on July 17, 1953 at Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, became Miss France, 18-year-old Christiane Martel. She successfully won the competition, and was crowned by actress Julie Adams.

The second Miss Universe were born in Paris, France in 1932. Shortly after her reign, Martel embarked on a successful career in international films, appearing in movies such as Yankee Pasha, So This Is Paris, the 1956 version of Corazón salvaje (playing the villain Aimée), Viva el Amor!, Rosa Blanca and her last film to date, 1961′s Leoni al Sole. Martel was married briefly to Ronnie Marengo, a department store heir, whom she divorced in 1955.

She later married Miguel Alemán Velasco, who would become Governor of Veracruz and is the son of Miguel Alemán Valdés, former president of Mexico. She presently resides in Mexico in the state of Veracruz. They have three daughters and one son. Their son, Miguel Alemán Magnani is a stakeholder of Televisa and the owner of low-cost airline, Interjet. She made her last television appearance at the Miss Universe pageants in 1993 and 2007 that were held in Mexico.
